A Global Mission of United Nations Peacekeeping Efforts

Maybe you don’t know Gillian Sorensen, Sr. Advisor, UN Foundation, but is usually a national advocate for the UN & US/UN relationship. She will speak on 9/15/10 at UCONN/Stamford. Forum events at UCONN now begin at 5:45 PM (networking and refreshments) & presentation at 6:15 PM.
There are so many things and issue going around the world, however The United Nations defines PEACEKEEPING as “laying the foundations for sustainable peace”. Gillian Sorensen, Senior Advisor, United Nations Foundation, is usually a national advocate on matters associated for the United Nations plus the US/UN relationship. She could be the speaker at the Globe Affairs Forum’s first fall system on September 15 at UCONN/Stamford. The software starts at a NEW TIME, 5:45 P.M., with networking and refreshments followed by the presentation at 6:15 P.M.

Gillian Sorensen served as assistant secretary-general for external relations on appointment by Secretary-General Kofi Annan and as unique advisor for public policy on appointment by Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali.

General Admission: Free for Forum and Ambassadors’ Roundtable members; Faculty and Students, and $20 for all others.
